Grease Containment Systems For Restaurants & Hospitality.

According to a 2017 report by the National Fire Protection Association, an estimated average of 7,410 structure fires in eating and drinking establishments were reported each year to U.S. fire departments during 2010-2014. Cooking equipment is the leading cause of these restaurant fires (61% of incidents), and cooking materials — including grease and oil — were the items first ignited in 43% of the fires. As a food service provider, without proper Grease Guards® and clean Hood Filters, your facility may be subject to unnecessary liabilities, rooftop safety hazards, and code violations. Our Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System® can help.

Damage Control for Restaurants and Hospitality

Using A Grease Containment System

Things to consider when sourcing a Grease Containment System for Restaurants and Hospitality establishments:

The Grease Containment System must absorb all fats, oils, and greases. This is typically done with a sorbent material much like a napkin or paper towel, but on a more robust, UL Listed, commercial scale. Containment capacity is a vital measurement in your Rooftop Grease Containment needs. The Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System® can be configured to any size and style to accommodate your needs.

The Rooftop Grease Containment System is designed to withstand not only grease, but the elements outdoors, too. With exposure to the outside world, the Grease Guard® will need to endure water, wind, falling debris, and everything else mother nature can throw at it. To combat these elements, the Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System®  is made of hydrophobic (water resistant) materials.

The only thing worse than a fire spreading across a rooftop is a fire fueled by a large quantity of grease. The Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System® addresses the needs of fire suppression, control, and prevention. Our product is UL Listed and can help extinguish any fire that may spark within the unit.

All Grease Containment Systems for Restaurants and Hospitality Establishments require ongoing care and maintenance. Most Rooftop Grease Containment Systems use a series of filters that will eventually need to be replaced. As long as you are cooking, you will need a Containment Service Provider. Just like any other filter, Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System® requires filter changes in order to remain efficient and stay compliant. Our service teams can provide this maintenance, or we can ship the filters directly to you for you to perform the maintenance yourself!
